An early systems experiment: spacing, type, and a grid that could survive real products.
In 2020 I started documenting layout rules the way engineers document APIs. This study became the seed of how Nullcano still thinks about structure: fewer decisions, stronger defaults.
What stuck
A 4/8 spacing scale, one display face, one body face, and a hard rule against “almost aligned” modules.
