The actual game doesn't matter for this one — I invented a title, a genre, and a fake publisher purely as an excuse to design cabinet livery: side art, marquee, control panel overlay, coin door sticker, the works.
Cabinet art has to do a strange job: sell a game to someone standing three metres away in a dim arcade, survive being touched by hundreds of hands a week, and still look right lit from inside a plastic marquee at 2am. That's a branding brief most identity systems never have to answer.
I built the whole system around a single repeating decal motif instead of a mascot — a striped hazard pattern borrowed loosely from pharmaceutical hazard labelling, just abstract enough to read as "arcade" and not "recall notice." Side art, marquee, and CPO all share the same stripe angle so the cabinet reads as one object from any angle in a crowded room.
Total output: a full print-ready decal set for a game that will never be built, which is either the most honest or the most useless project in this journal, depending on your mood.
